School's out for summer! What are your family plans? The RIVM and GGD guidelines have become more flexible, but it remains important to keep your families well being in mind. That might mean staying close to home this summer. Luckily there are loads of fun options just around the corner. We’ve put together a list with some ideas. Be inspired!

The Netherlands have countless beautiful hiking routes and many of them are suitable for the whole family. For example Staatsbosbeheer gives a nice overview. Fill the picnic basket together with the kids and set out on our own adventure.

Do your kids love animals? And looking to escape the busy city for a moment? Then sleeping on a farm might be a good idea! At some farms you are invited to roll up your sleeves or you can choose a more relaxed option where the kids are free to cuddle with the animals.

Picking fruit together in a fruit garden! This way the children learn how and where the fruit grows. We’re sure that they will appreciate the responsible sweet snacks even more afterwards ;) You can also bring the fruit home and together make healthy ice pops. You can’t go wrong with that!
