We process your personal data on the basis of at least one of the following legal grounds:

If you, as a user, book a babysitter on the platform, Charly Cares collects the following personal data and information, which are necessary to perform the services you have ordered. We store these in a parent profile accessible to you, which can be modified:
Identity and contact details, such as first name, surname, email address, telephone number, address information, family composition and preferred payment method;
Bank and payment details, such as account holder, bank account number / IBAN, bank identification code;
The nature of the booked services, as well as the duration of the booked services in hours; information on whether the service is one-off or recurring;
The time at which a parent profile was created and updated;
The number of your children and the month and year of birth of your child(ren);
Optional, and only insofar as provided by you to the babysitter via the chat: particulars of the children (such as allergies, dietary requirements, bedtimes and the like), your preference regarding how the babysitter enters the home (whether you are at home yourself or, if the babysitter has been before, via a third party), the possible presence of pets, et cetera;
Optional, and solely with your explicit consent: a profile photo of your family;
Chat history with the babysitter;
Optional: data from linked social media accounts, allowing Charly Cares users who are friends to see each other within the app;

Charly Cares uses the aforementioned data to arrange a booking (request) for babysitting services by a babysitter. In addition, the babysitter’s age, his or her experience and qualities, and the travel distance to the babysitting address are used. The month and year of birth of the children are processed because children under 2.5 years of age are only matched with a babysitter with specialist knowledge.
If Charly Cares’ activities lead to the conclusion of a Babysitting Agreement between you and a babysitter, Charly Cares processes and uses the data in your parent profile as further described in the applicable “general terms and conditions for babysitters”, for the purpose of invoicing and the necessary aftercare, as well as to enable Charly Cares to invoice its commission to the babysitter.
If you use the option on the platform to review completed babysitting services, Charly Cares collects, processes and uses the data you enter in order to display it on the platform. In addition, Charly Cares stores the services you booked and that were completed by a babysitter, as well as the invoices drawn up on behalf of the babysitter, in your parent profile, so that you can access this information at a later time.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in the email.
You can also change your additional information and the data in your parent profile at any time in your parent profile. Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your parent profile from the platform, Charly Cares will block and permanently delete your data.

Chat history with users (parents);
The nature of the booked services, as well as the duration of the booked services in hours; information on whether the service is one-off or recurring;

A babysitter may indicate whether he/she holds a Certificate of Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag, VOG). Charly Cares does not request this certificate and does not receive, check or store it.
