The babysitting insurance also covers (up to a certain amount) material damage to items under supervision. These are items that our Angels have in use, handling, safekeeping, transport, or for any other reason under his or her responsibility.

The insured amount is standard € 1,250,000, including a sublimit (for supervision) of up to € 50,000 per claim. So damage to the parent’s belongings as the client, as well as personal injury caused by an Angel, is reimbursed when the Angel is liable for it. However, damage that is intentionally caused is, of course, not insured. The policy conditions and the additional clause regarding supervision list specific exclusions for damage.

In the event of unexpected damage, the Angel can choose to use our babysitting insurance. If she chooses to do so, she must report this immediately to Charly Cares. The damage report is then handled immediately so that users experience as little inconvenience as possible.

Note: for Angels, a deductible of €125 applies.
