In our babysitting app, you can easily set two rates (day and evening rates) and you’re completely free to set your own hourly rate. No worries: if you have a combination of a day and evening shift, this is automatically calculated.

If you babysit during the day, you take care of the children all day long. For example, you pick them up from school, prepare meals, and make it a fun day with the kids. Daytime babysitting can therefore be quite demanding. That is why it is fair to expect something in return.

When working an evening shift, you often put the children to bed, or they may already be in bed. That means you can spend a large part of the babysitting time doing something for yourself, for example watching a movie on the couch or studying. That is why your hourly rate should be quite a bit lower than your daytime rate.

Good news: you can now, in agreement with the parent, be paid directly after your babysitting shift. If the parent chooses iDEAL, you’ll receive your babysitting money after one working day. You can also arrange the payment between yourselves via cash or a Tikkie, in which case you’ll get it right away. If the parent does not choose this, you’ll receive your money after 4 working days.
