Convenient: an app to book a reliable babysitter, but how does payment actually work? Good news: we’ve made that as simple as possible for you. At the end of the booking, you can choose from 3 payment methods: iDeal, cash, or direct debit. It’s up to you! And do you have a babysitter through your employer? Then your employer pays via your credit.

What happens at the end of a babysitting shift?
At the booking start time, a timer will automatically start running in the app. At the end of the booking, when you return, you stop the timer with one press of a button. You can then adjust the times if needed, after which it will be recorded how long the booking lasted (accurate to the minute) and how much the Angel should receive. After stopping the timer, you choose the payment method and you're all set!

Prefer direct debit? No problem, we’ll arrange it for you. Within 2 working days, we’ll debit the total amount from your account (the fee for the Angel, booking costs of €1.99 and sitter insurance of €0.12 per hour). The Angel will then be paid within 4 working days.

If you choose the cash option, you arrange the payment directly with the Angel. This can be cash, but you can also choose to settle it together, for example with a “tikkie”. Via direct debit, we will automatically deduct the booking fee (€1.99) and the babysitting insurance fee (€0.12 per hour) from your account within 2 business days.

Do you have an Oppas van de Zaak account and want to pay for the babysitting service with your business hours? Then, after stopping the timer, choose ‘my employer pays’. The hours will then be deducted, and the babysitter will receive the money in her bank account within 4 working days.
