Back to school!

Preparing lunch boxes, the morning rush hour, checking for lice… Yes, the kids are going back to school. That’s why we’d love to share some tips to help you get started.

#1 On your bike to school
Hop! Get on your bike or in the car to drop the kids off at school. One way or another, you always seem to run out of time in the morning. A bit of a shock, but after the summer holiday there are almost twice as many traffic victims amongst students as during the rest of the year. Going back to school can be both exciting and nerve-wracking for everyone. Always take your time going to school and keep an extra eye on the little ones.

#2 Lice
Unfortunately, head lice cannot be prevented, especially for the school-going little ones. Lice are absolutely not the end of the world, but the itch they come with can get quite annoying. That’s why checking once a week with a lice comb is advisable. In case of possible contamination, it’ll allow you to act quickly.

#3 The lunch box
The holidays are over, so it’s time again for a healthy lunch box. Filled with delicious fruits and vegetables. But did you know that children can only really properly chew when they’re about five/six years old? To prevent a choking hazard, you can, for example, cut the tomatoes and grapes in halves or quarters.
