#4 Spinach and feta surprises - One way to make your kids enjoy spinach!

You will need:

  • Feta cheese

  • Pre-cut frozen spinach

  • Puff pastry

  • Garlic and onion

How to prepare:

Finely chop the onion and garlic. Defrost the spinach in a pan on low heat. Be careful: stir regularly to avoid burning the bottom. Put another large pan on medium heat. Add a splash of oil and fry the garlic and onion until golden. Add the defrosted spinach and feta – crumble the feta first – to the pan and let simmer on low heat. Make sure most of the moisture has evaporated. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Keep in mind that feta is already pretty salty. Grab a cupcake pan and grease it. Add a sheet of puff pastry to each indentation. Fill the pastry with the spinach filling and fold the edges of the puff pastry over the filling.

Attention: read the puff pastry box for the precise baking instructions.
