The nice thing about working as a part-time nanny is that I decide my own schedule. In the app, I make sure that parents can’t book me when I’m on vacation, for example. That’s really convenient for me, because then I know exactly where I stand. Sometimes I have a day off and want to meet up with friends, but I still receive a babysitting request. Sometimes I decline those. But the opposite also happens: if I suddenly have a free day, I respond to a Jobboard request because I want to babysit at the last minute. I really like the flexibility.”
