How do I find an Angel on Charly Cares?
How nice to hear that you are interested in finding an Angel on our platform! To book an Angel on our platform, it's important to download the app and create a family profile. Take some time to add a nice photo and description so that the Angels can get a good first impression. Start by searching for an Angel. Choose the service you need, and select the date and time for the booking to take place. Once you've chosen the date and time, a selection of available Angels who meet your criteria will appear. Use the filter function to sort by hourly rate, age, or other characteristics.
Select as many Angels as you find suitable and also post the booking on the jobboard. This increases the chances of success. The jobboard is a collection of bookings where Angels can proactively apply for your booking.
Once the request is sent, wait for responses from the Angels. Keep an eye on your booking overview and chat. Did you receive a response? An Angel has either accepted the booking or an Angel is offering their services through the jobboard. In this case, you'll need to accept the Angel's offer. Please note that a job board offer is valid for 6 hours, after which it expires.
Once a booking is accepted, it will be listed in the app's overview. Now you can chat with the Angel and schedule a potential introduction!
How do I find a fixed babysitter?
If you're looking for a babysitter for multiple days per week, we recommend inviting as many Angels as possible for the booking. Create the fixed babysitting reservation yourself, select as many Angels as you can, and post the booking on the Jobboard. This increases the chance lof a successful booking!
For bookings starting from September and lasting a longer period, we advise selecting multiple Angels for 1 to a maximum of 4 times and then discussing whether they can stay for an extended period. We have many students in our database, and they don't yet know their schedules for September in August. Additionally, our experience shows that bookings further in the future are less likely to succeed compared to those happening sooner.
How exactly does Jobboard work?
You can think of Jobboard as the old-fashioned bulletin board in the supermarket, where you put up a note if you're looking for a babysitter. Jobboard works the same way and is a kind of bulletin board for our Babysitter Angels, where they can see job posts from parents.
There are 2 ways to make a booking request, either way, you can use Jobboard.
Option 1
- Select the date and time you need a babysitter.
- Select the Angels you would like to book. Use all the handy filters to do this!
- The 'place on jobboard' slider is automatically on (you can turn it off), we recommend leaving it on for a higher success rate.
- Your selected Angels can respond to your application. At the same time, Angels through Jobboard can respond.
- You will receive all proposals and accept the proposal from your favorite Angel.
Option 2 (In areas surrounding cities)
- Select the date and time you need a babysitter.
- Post the call directly on Jobboard (note: you will not select your favorite Angels).
- Angels who match your preferences can respond to your request via Jobboard.
- You will receive all proposals and accept the proposal from your favorite Angel.
You can also reject the proposal. Your booking request does not disappear from Jobboard. You have 6 hours to respond to proposals from Angels.
Good to know
- Angels who do not fully meet your requirements can also respond to your request on Jobboard.
- When you invite an Angel and they subsequently accept the offer, they become the Angel on the booking. When an Angel makes an offer on your booking, you still have to accept it.
What types of Babysitting Angels do you offer?
At Charly Cares, you can find several different types of Babysitting Angels. Some Babysitting Angels are available to support a family on a fixed basis, whereas other Babysitting Angels prefer to babysit only occasionally. There is always a babysitter who fits your babysitting needs, whether you are looking for a fixed, after-school, flexible, or last minute babysitter.
We do not have any au pairs or nannies. We do have fixed Babysitting Angels who are available to babysit at fixed times every week. Do you need a babysitter for multiple days every week? In that case, we advise that you book multiple Angels.
