Angel Story; This is what the babysitting service looks like to Florine

When I still lived at home, I had already started babysitting, often my cousins. The funny thing is that, when I was younger, I didn't really have any affinity with children, but ever since I started babysitting I have completely changed my mind. I now love children & would call myself a true 'kids fan'!

A daytime babysitting service is always fun, because you can go out and do something with the children. Of course, it depends on the age of the children, but when the weather is nice I love to take them outside. We'll go to the park or to a nearby playground. With the littlest ones, I prefer to go for a walk around the neighbourhood.

A fun indoor activity is reading a book together, I almost always do that. I've noticed that the children really enjoy it, too, and they even learn something from it. I also try to do puzzles with them, play games, or play with legos. And we also sometimes do the cooking together, if necessary. In reality, I do most of the cooking, but the kids will help, for example, by finding the plates and cutlery. That's how we make sure we have fun together.

The best thing about a babysitting service is when the parents and children are happy to have you there. I really like it when the parents can go out comfortably because of me. You are really giving back, I feel. The nice thing about fixed addresses is that the children recognise you and feel comfortable with you. That is why I think it's really important for me to bond with the children.

What I like most about babysitting through Charly Cares is the flexibility it gives me. I am currently quite busy with my studies, but because I can babysit mostly at night, I have the whole day to work on my studies.
